Now more than ever before we have so much to deal with in the workplace: multiple generations, multitasking, internal and external customer service. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out the most appropriate way to get our message across to different groups of people.

This program explores the essentials of good interpersonal communication and professionalism in the workplace. We will discuss tools and strategies to better communicate our professionalism and continue to build a positive image.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the 8 critical professional workplace behaviors
  • Differentiate between intent and impact and how to communicate our intent
  • Explain importance of respectful behavior with co-workers and others
  • Identify their personal “brand” and how it impacts their professional behavior
