Maria (Ria) Rosas, MBA, CMT, HR Advisor & Member Engagement Lead

Ria brings over 20 years of Human Resources experience across non-profit organizations, the private sector, and Fortune 500 companies. With a background in HR, an MBA, and certification as a mediator, she is passionate about building strong workplace cultures, supporting employees, and helping organizations grow through thoughtful leadership and collaboration.

In her role at TEA, Ria serves as a trusted HR resource for members, providing practical guidance on employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR best practices. She also leads TEA’s HR roundtables, fosters member engagement and connection, and supports strategic HR initiatives that help West Michigan businesses thrive.

At a personal level, Ria enjoys life with her spouse, daughters Alina and Jenna, and their three English Bulldogs (Layla, Chap, and Lizzie). A creative at heart, she loves making art, gardening, and discovering new local coffee spots whenever she can.
