Nick Kacher, Esq., SPHR, President

Nick Kacher was named President of The Employers' Association in May of 2024. As President, Nick provides strategic vision and operational leadership to ensure TEA remains the premier resource for HR solutions and professional development in the region. He oversees all aspects of the association’s growth, including:

Membership Development: Driving member recruitment and retention strategies to expand the TEA network.
Strategic Partnerships: Building and maintaining key alliances that enhance the value provided to the employer community.
Operational Oversight: Managing staff, budgeting, and financial health to ensure the long-term sustainability of the association.
Brand & Programming: Guiding brand marketing efforts and overseeing the execution of high-impact events and training programs.

Prior to joining TEA, Nick served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for a global association of law firms. Before his 16 years with the legal network, Nick practiced law as an associate with a midsize business firm based in Detroit and began his legal career as an attorney for the State Court of Appeals.   

Nick graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English and Education. He then obtained his law degree from Loyola University Chicago's School of Law, where he was a pro bono award recipient. Nick and his wife have two teenage children and live in Ada, Michigan. He enjoys volunteering with his children’s activities and staying involved in the local community..
