Joy Brown, an accomplished HR professional, joined The Employers' Association in January 2025, bringing over three years of experience in talent acquisition and employee engagement. In her career, Joy excelled in recruiting top talent and building strong candidate pipelines. Aligned with TEA's mission supporting operational excellence, she has experience fostering positive workplace cultures, spearheading initiatives that significantly improved employee satisfaction and retention. As HR Project Manager, Joy leverages her expertise to support TEA members and community employers through policy development, handbook projects, engagement surveys and HR department assessments. Her passion for creating environments where employees feel valued, combined with her analytical skills in designing and interpreting engagement surveys, supports organizations to make informed, strategic decisions. Joy’s dedication to providing guidance and resources, along with her ability to build strong relationships, ensures members are well-equipped to navigate today’s workforce challenges.

Outside of her professional life, Joy is an avid reader and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She finds peace and inspiration by the water, where she enjoys unwinding and reflecting.
