Delegation is a tool for achieving results through others. Used effectively, delegation can also develop the skills and talents of employees, so they become more valuable to the organization and to themselves. This workshop covers delegation barriers and challenges along with the steps to conducting an effective delegation conversation.

To prepare leaders to effectively delegate tasks to employees.

After completing this program, participants will be able to:

  • Make successful decisions about what to delegate, when, and to whom
  • Grant an appropriate level of authority when delegating
  • Apply a six-step process for communicating clear expectations
  • Develop a plan to delegate a task and communicate expectations
