This program will foster an environment where participants can openly explore differences, engage in respectful dialogue, and reflect on their own perspectives. Clear expectations will be set around active listening, openness, and curiosity. Constructive feedback will be encouraged throughout, both from facilitators and peers, to strengthen learning and ensure participants feel supported and challenged.

To build each participants’ capacity to bridge their differences, engage in courageous conversations, and develop practical skills that reduce division and promote understanding across diverse communities.

By the end of this program, participants will be able to: 

  • Recognize how social, cultural, and personal identities shape perceptions and interactions.
  • Identify common barriers to understanding across differences, including bias, stereotypes, and assumptions.
  • Practice strategies for effective dialogue that promote empathy and connection.
  • Develop tools to navigate conflict and tension while maintaining respect and openness.
  • Commit to actionable steps that strengthen equity and inclusion within their daily practice.
