The Mission of The Employers’ Association is to provide practical Human Resource Solutions to West Michigan employers that promote operational excellence and sustainability.

There are incalculable resources in the human spirit once it has been set free.

Welcome to The Employers' Association

TEA is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1939 to provide West Michigan businesses with Human Resource-related information and solutions. We are not an employment agency, not about billable hours, invoices or on-going engagements, and not an “outside group” trying to tell you how to run your company. The Association relies on long-term relationships and business partnerships – built by professionals having experience within the West Michigan region. Our mission is to provide West Michigan employers with practical Human Resource Solutions that promote operational excellence and sustainability – let us help make your organization more competitive within our ever-changing global market.

Where do you go when you just don’t know where to go? The internet is an excellent resource BUT you must “know what you do not yet know” to access useful information. The Employers’ Association helps organizations identify and implement workable solutions to the most difficult “people-related” issues. How do you handle a “bully” in the workplace? How can you leverage the differences in values, thoughts and actions brought to the workforce by different generations to create a team stronger than any of its individual components? When is an organization big enough to have a full time HR Professional – and what should be the return on such an investment? The Association routinely helps members find answers to these and other tough questions. To learn more about how we can help you, check this summary of all we offer – or contact either Ron Scott or myself and find out how we can help you become an employer of choice!

Sincerely,

David J. Smith, CAE
President & CEO
