The challenges have never been greater for leaders at every level.  With unprecedented uncertainty as a result of a global pandemic, leaders have to figure out how to get things back on track, including re-engaging with employees and inspiring performance to drive recovery.  

In good times and bad, every leader will be challenged to engage their teams at higher levels and address performance challenges by a team or individual that isn’t delivering as expected.  

With so much at stake, leaders need all the help they can get.  While attending Engage and Ignite: How the Best Leaders Inspire Great Performance, leaders will learn a practical and proven framework that will guide your decisions for any performance challenge or opportunity you face.

Learning Objectives
 
  • Recognize the difference between leading and managing
  • Describe how leading and managing complement one another
  • Recall the 6 factors that impact performance
  • Apply the 6 factors proactively and intentionally to create the conditions for teams and individuals to do their best work
  • Diagnose low performance issues and take action to address performance gaps

This workshop is divided into 4 parts:


Pre-work:

Identify an opportunity or challenge you need to address.
Complete a self-assessment to identify your strengths and areas for greater focus 

Session 1 (1/26/22 | 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.):

Attend this 4-hour session to learn how to leverage the performance framework and the 6 factors to address your challenge/opportunity.

In-between sessions 1 and 2:

Apply the performance framework on the job to proactively plan for the opportunity or address the challenge.  Check in with facilitators for coaching and support.

Session 2 (3/3/22 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.):

Attend the second session to share your plan and the results you achieved.  Celebrate your success, learn from other participants and plan for the future.
