This program outlines the four generations in the workforce today and identifies key characteristics for each generation. We provide insight into how each employee in your workforce can learn from the different generations, resulting in more effective communication, productivity and motivation. We’ll explore the barriers to productivity and discuss how to address these in the workplace. It doesn’t matter if you’re a GI Generation, Baby Boomer, and Gen Xer or Nexter, what matters is how we understand, work and communicate with each other in the most effective manner.

Course Goal
Provide participants with the knowledge and skills to enhance communication, productivity and motivation across each generation.

Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • List key characteristics of each generation.
  • Identify management techniques that work best for each generation.
  • Increase productive interactions and decrease conflict between the generations at work.

Designed For:  Human resource professionals or those responsible for facilitating employee relations or morale. Employees who need a better understanding of managing differences as part of preparing for the future labor shortage should be sure to attend.
