This half day course will give participants an introduction to several key HR metrics that can be used to report the current conditions and trends in your organization. Participants will learn how to conduct basic statistical analysis to better evaluate (and/or develop) HR strategies, and how to apply them within their organization.

To determine the value and effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs and how to evaluate cost items for an HR budget
Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
Know the difference between a metric and a benchmark
Identify the different types of metrics and which to use
Describe the 12 most common HR metrics to use and their formulas
Identify which finance items apply to HR – and which may not
Explain criteria to use when evaluating which cost items to include in an HR budget
