The Leadership Challenge
Topic-Leadership | 2-day program

Notice:  Effective immediately, all TEA Instructor-led courses through April are limited to 10 persons and comply with seated social distancing guidelines of 6 feet. In addition, our training facility surfaces and hardware will be regularly disinfected daily to help ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for everyone.

The Leadership Challenge™ workshop is about how leaders mobilize others to want to get extraordinary things done in organizations. It’s about the skills leaders use to transform values into action, visions into realities, obstacles into innovations, separateness into solidarity, and risks into rewards. Specifically, The Leadership Challenge™ workshop emphasizes research-validated practices, commitments, and behaviors that increase engagement, improve performance…and truly make a difference.
Course Goal
To inform, educate, and inspire individuals to guide others along the paths of commitment, engagement, and perseverance.

Course Pre-work
Unlike some workshops, completing prework for The Leadership Challenge is essential to a successful learning experience. These include:

  • Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) is a 30-question assessment each course registrant will complete on him/herself. In addition, he/she will be asked to identify 5-10 persons (e.g. boss, direct reports, colleagues) who will also complete the LPI on him/her.
  • Writing a short paragraph describing his/her best leadership accomplishment
  • Selecting from a list the characteristics of the most admired leaders in his/her life

Workshop participants will receive a detailed report summarizing all LPI data. All Pre-work instructions will be e-mailed to registrants approximately 2 weeks prior to the session.
