HRG October 2019 Meeting
Recognizing & Valuing Generations at Work
With multiple generations in the workplace, it is more important than ever to understand their differences and similarities in order to enhance the workplace culture and productivity. Each generation may respond differently to decisions made in the workplace and thus their responses may appear odd…or familiar. This session will identify key characteristics for each generation in today’s workplace and how to encourage employees in your organization to learn about and learn from each other, resulting in more effective communication, productivity, and motivation.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
Become aware of key characteristics of each generation
Identify techniques to improve the workplace culture that are most effective
for each generation
Increase productive interactions and decrease conflict between the generations at work
We look forward to your joining us for this educational, information-filled session!
This program will fulfill the SHRM competencies of: Relationship Management and Global & Cultural Effectiveness.
This program will also fulfill the HRCI functional areas of Employee and Labor Relations along with Workforce Planning and Employment because it will assist HR in learning effective strategies for cross cultural relationship building, communication and productivity planning.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
