Please join us for TEA's 79th Annual Business Meeting & Luncheon where we will review our 2018 accomplishments, the Association’s financial health and the practical HR Solutions we provide that promote operational excellence. Chair Mary Tabin will share her thoughts and observations from the Board’s perspective, President Jason Reep will talk about our future plans, and Felecia Meyering (from mkp Certified Professional Accountants) will provide a review of 2018 Financials and compare how your Association measures up to similar groups.

TEA has provided practical HR Solutions to the West Michigan business community for 80 years by ensuring that you have the tools and resources necessary to make sound and appropriate operational decisions. Keeping our eyes on the needs of today while at the same time working with you to develop your capacity to excel in an ever-changing tomorrow is at the heart of what we do.  We are pleased to welcome Becky Andree, CEO of Vertical Leadership Consulting, as our Keynote Speaker this year who will share critical information to equip leaders for more complex thinking.

The future of work is highly interconnected, fast-changing, and unpredictable.  Leaders are living in a time of unprecedented change and solutions are not always obvious.  Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) are lurking at every corner. To thrive in a complex world, leader’s need support in advancing their capacity to think complexly.  What is the secret to future proofing? Develop leaders to be bigger than your current and future problems.  Join us to learn how!

Becky integrates her distinguished professional accomplishments of re-inventing the Global Talent Management processes, serving as President of her local school board and being an entrepreneur with a deep knowledge of human and organizational behavior to provide a unique perspective when helping develop effective leaders.

Becky is adept at identifying development opportunities, creating learning that increases knowledge and complex thinking, and embedding complexity of thinking throughout the HR Value Chain. Clients, teams and workshop participants share stories of transformation, moving past barriers, developing (and embracing) new insights, and discovering opportunities to improve relationships, productivity, and results.

Becky is finalizing her PhD research on the effect of adult development on a leader’s experience of high-quality connections.
