HRG April 2019 Meeting
Recruiting Headaches? Take a Different Route!
Come and hear about the benefits of hiring “returning citizens” directly from an employer who has successfully hired several employees over the past 4 years.
Learn about the successes of the Michigan Offender Success program and the Vocational Villages program and how these programs can be an important asset to your workforce – a piece of the answer to your recruiting headaches. These programs prepare, train and support “returning citizens” to be your successful future employees.
Learn how this option can enhance your recruitment efforts and your community, and hear about successful strategies of how other companies have benefitted by utilizing this candidate pool to move their workforce forward!
The goal of these programs is to provide the training and supports to “returning citizens” so they can become skilled employees, self-sufficient, and contributing citizens.
This program will fulfill the SHRM competencies of: Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management.
This program will also fulfill the HRCI functional areas of Workforce Planning and Employment and Risk Management because it will assist HR in learning of alternative recruiting resources and strategies to limit potential risk.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
