Drug/Alcohol Awareness for Leaders

Drug/Alcohol Awareness for Leaders
Topic-Leadership | Topic-Human Resources

Drug and alcohol abuse is complex and can be costly to employers.  This has been made more so with the recent passage of legislation legalizing marijuana in March of 2018.  When substance abuse impacts the workplace it can significantly damage many aspects of a business including safety, productivity, teamwork, engagement, public image, and others.  This half-day program is designed to increase leaders’ awareness of use and addiction and how to address it at work.  It will also explore the laws around testing and privacy and how the marijuana legislation might impact both of them.

Goal
Enhance leader’s ability to identify and respond to drug and alcohol use at work - including marijuana.
