Recognize and understand the basic laws affecting HR practices

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the FLSA and its impact on employers
  • Differentiate between state and federal laws and which takes precedence
  • Develop strategies for keeping their company in compliance

 Professionals new to the Human Resources field and supervisors or managers whose responsibilities also include Human Resources aspects (FMLA, Harassment, Hiring or Termination).
