Introduction to Leadership
This course provides an overview of critical leadership skills needed by team leaders/supervisors and those desiring to take on leadership responsibilities. The topics discussed include how to deal with the challenges of supervising former co-workers, positively representing the organization, managing different personalities, and holding people accountable.
Certificate is given, provided all requirements have been met
To provide participants information regarding their roles and responsibilities as a leader along with enhancing skills of setting expectations and delivering feedback.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
Differentiate between leadership and management
Determine the appropriate techniques to manage relationships and remain professional
Identify their leadership style and its impact
Utilize a method to clearly set and communicate expectations
Deliver feedback for reinforcement
Deliver feedback for improvement
New and potential team leaders or supervisors.
In order to maintain a great mix of participants in our public programs, companies can register
up to six participants
