When sharing feedback is part of an organization’s culture, it is an effective business tool that reaches across all levels. In this course, individual performers learn how to effectively deliver both positive and developmental feedback. They also learn how to be receptive to feedback and to listen to accurately understand the speaker’s intended message. In the workplace, these skills help them to optimize and sustain their own and their coworkers’ performance. Practice makes perfect, and we’ll do plenty of it in this session!

Course Goal
Equip participants with the knowledge and skills to provide Feedback for Reinforcement and Feedback for Improvement.
 
Course Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Assess their ability to receive feedback
  • Describe the elements of effective feedback
  • Provide feedback using the appropriate feedback model
  • Develop a plan to provide feedback at work

Designed For:  Anyone who wants to learn how to provide effective feedback to colleagues, subordinates, and even managers, both in positive and not-so-positive situations.
