Managing Millennial Employees

Managing Millennial Employees
Topic-Human Resources | Topic-Leadership | Topic-HRCI

There is a rapid generational shift that is occurring in many of today’s businesses. Baby Boomers are beginning to retire at higher rates and the percentage of Millennials continues to quickly grow. This impacts organizations on many levels – economically, socially, structurally, and culturally. As such, many leaders are being challenged to reexamine their methods of management.

This course will explore the millennial generation in context of other generations. Participants will identify key characteristics of younger workers, engagement strategies for younger workers, and development techniques for younger workers. Managers will be challenged to identify the strengths and challenges that Millennials bring to their workplace and if their tried and true management techniques still apply.

Course Goal
To enable participants to best work with younger employees
