This half-day program is geared toward those who currently lead others.  Participants will learn about the 3 types of change employees may go through, 4 typical reactions to the change, and the 5 action steps for handling the change effectively.  Participants will also learn techniques to help others to overcome their own resistance to change and move to action.  Through a combination of presentations, video exercises, and group discussions, participants will leave the session equipped to better handle change in their own life and help others do the same.

Course Goal
To provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to positively manage change in their own lives and assist others to do the same in theirs.

Course Objectives
After completing this series, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the 3 types of change
  • Understand the 4 typical reactions to change
  • Understand the 5 action steps needed to effectively handle change
  • Develop their own action plan for a change they are currently going through
  • Identify which of the 4 reactions another person is having regarding a change
  • Use provided tools to help others develop their own change action plan
