Situational Leadership II Concepts

Situational Leadership II Concepts
Topic-Leadership

This half-day program provides leaders with a model to help diagnose the needs of an individual or a team and then use the appropriate leadership style to respond to the needs of the person, team, and the situation.

Participants learn about the three skills of a Situational Leader (Goal Setting, Diagnosing, and Matching), and reinforce their learning with a video case study and videos on SMART goals and other skills. The program incorporates the SLII Leader Behavior Analysis II® (LBAII) to help each participant understand their personal leadership style and set goals to become more effective in choosing the most appropriate leadership style for the situation.

Topics:

  • Correctly diagnosing an employee’s development level
  • Selecting appropriate leadership style behaviors
  • Delegating, supporting, coaching and directing
  • Increasing leadership style flexibility
  • Avoiding over-supervision and under-supervision
