High quality, cost effective training is one of the significant services provided by the Association. Over 70% of our members take advantage of educational services. While emphasis is on subjects designed to enhance the skills of managing and motivating people, selected subjects applicable to all levels of staff are offered when members express a need.
- Responsiveness to Current Issues
When "hot topics" emerge in other areas of Association activity, our staff's training experience is put to good use. For subjects requiring outside expertise not available on the staff, careful screening of "experts" takes place to assure that standards of quality and relevance are maintained.
- Meaningful Participation
Most sessions have a maximum of 18 participants to assure the valuable give and take of a small group exchange. Participants are able to meet people from other companies with job responsibilities similar to their own, adding to the exchange of ideas, and providing useful perspective for all the participants.
- "Real World" Practicality
Another important characteristic of Association training is the continuity and follow-up which long-term Association membership allows. Feedback from participants to Association staff is an essential ingredient in keeping our programs current and relevant assuring that what is taught really works in your environment.
On-Site Training
TEA programs can also be delivered on-site. Our staff, guided by a "needs analysis", will assist you in designing training or development programs to meet your organizations unique needs, including scheduling and location requirements.
Benefits and Advantages:
- Unique Needs: First, we get to know you, your organization, and what specific goals you want to achieve in training. Your employees receive information and skills to assist them in dealing with the real issues they face in their own day-to-day work environment. We provide the program materials and the most experienced instructors (top human resources development consultants and trainers).
- Flexibility and convenience: The course content, date, time, and location can often be established to meet your company’s needs. Courses can be scheduled for weekdays, weekends or evenings; whichever is most convenient. They can be held at your facility, at TEA (additional charge), or any other meeting place of your choice.
- Group Interaction: Your employees are trained together. Everyone receives the same message; they participate and interact; they become a team!
