Lynne Goede, PHR, Manager of Member Development

Lynne is responsible for membership initiatives at The Employers’ Association. She works with both current and future members to ensure they receive the greatest benefit from their membership in The Employers’ Association.
Lynne has developed and presented our customer service certification program and teaches effective selling skills and presentation skills to our member companies. She tailors each program to the organization’s specific needs in order to provide a rich, relevant experience to participants.
Lynne has worked with most west Michigan companies and continues to study both selling and customer service trends. She conducts customer satisfaction surveys to assess the experiences customers have with companies and works with the company to reduce problem areas and reinforce strengths.
Lynne has extensive experience as a conflict management trainer and coach, specializing in conflict coaching. She works with individuals and small groups in the manufacturing, medical and professional services areas to identify and reduce issues affecting both individual and team performance.
Her areas of expertise include:
• Conflict coaching for individuals from public and private sector workplaces
• Conflict coaching training programs
• Designing organizational conflict coaching programs
Lynne has developed and taught three courses entitled “Conflict Coaching” “Getting Along with Your Supervisor” and “Managing Conflict”.
As a public speaker, Lynne gives presentations on techniques for reducing conflict in the workplace, how to manage conflict situations and how to increase sales and customer service effectiveness.
Lynne is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. She has been an adjunct faculty at Grand Valley State University, Seidman College of Business and Grand Rapids Community College.
Lynne is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) – sponsored Special Interest Group and The Association for Conflict Resolution.
